Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location: Westminster

Job type: Full-time, long-term temporary position

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Start date: ASAP

End date: July 2025

Pay rate ranges from £85 to £114 per day

Tradewind are proud to be partnered up with a wonderful primary school based in the heart of Central London who are searching for a new addition to their Early Years team.

This one-form entry Westminster school is looking to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP for the entire academic year. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting EYFS children and a natural ability to work well with children.

This is a full-time, long-term position commencing ASAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support to the Class Teacher
  • Plan activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Encourage learning through play
  • Support a group of key children
  • Support pupils in develop fine and gross motor skills
  • Instil a love of learning in pupils

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification is ideal but not essential
  • Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum
  • Must be available full-time and long-term ASAP
