Teacher of Business Studies

Accelerate Teaching is working with a reputable secondary school in Kirklees to appoint an experienced and motivated Teacher of Business for a September 2024 start. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative business lessons across KS3 and KS4, catering to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Inspire students to develop a passion for business and economics, preparing them for future academic and career success.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and high achievement.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help guide their development.
• Contribute to the development of the business curriculum and work closely with colleagues to share best practices.
• Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support student progress.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in Business or Economics, along with qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Proven experience in teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of education.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
