Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Tower Hamlets, London
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those requiring additional learning assistance.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning strategies and ensure all students have access to the curriculum.
• Assist in classroom management, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students' social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
• Help with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and progress tracking to support individualized learning plans.

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and the desire to make a difference.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous, but not essential.
