Alternative Provision School - Hatfield, Hertfordshire - Requires Secondary Teachers in Humanities, Maths, Science, DT and Food Tech - ASAP start - MPS/UPS (£166 to £248 daily)

About the School
Located in Watford, this large Alternative Provision School has recently joined a large Academy Trust of Schools as it aims to improve and offer students who are struggling in mainstream education another opportunity to achieving academic success. Due to the school expanding they are looking to appoint several Secondary Teachers who are subject specialist in the areas of Humanities, Maths, Science, Design Technology and Food Technology who will all start ASAP. Classes are small with a maximum of 6 and each student gets additional support via one-to-one LSA's. A huge advantage of working at a school like this is that there is no planning or marking to be done outside of the schools working hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Role requirements
- QTS Secondary Teacher in Humanities, Maths, Science, DT and Food Technology
- Passionate about helping disengaged students renew their interest in education
- Understanding, calm and caring persona
- Keen to develop a strong understanding of AP and SEN education
- Committed to a long-term role that could become permanent
