Are you looking for a dynamic and challenging role in a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley?

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist Cover Supervisor for a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley. The ideal candidate will have a background in education and experience working with students with challenging behaviours.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to deliver planned lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers and make a positive impact on the students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher
• Managing student behaviour in a positive and effective manner
• Implementing behaviour management strategies
• Providing support and guidance to students
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a related field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Social Work)
• Proven experience working with students with challenging behaviours
• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and their implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
