Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives? Our secondary school in Worsley (Salford) is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team in a long-term position, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

💼 Position: Behaviour Mentor
📍 Location: Worsley, Salford
💰 Salary: Up to £95 per day (depending on experience)
📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
📅 Contract: Long-term, with the potential to become permanent

🔍 Role Overview:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who are at risk of exclusion by building strong, trusting relationships in the classroom. Your focus will be to help these students improve their behavior and engagement with learning, creating a positive impact on their academic and personal development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging and supporting students who face behavioral challenges
  • Building strong relationships with students to encourage positive behavior and learning
  • Working alongside teachers to promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting support strategies as needed
  • Assisting with behavior management, conflict resolution, and promoting emotional well-being

🔑 Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students who are at risk of exclusion
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to managing challenging behavior
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to support student progress
