We are working with a highly respected Secondary school with an OFSTED Good rating who are seeking a dedicated and innovative Design Technology Teacher to join their faculty. Located in Tonbridge, the school prides itself on fostering a supportive community where students and staff alike can flourish. The role is full time to begin immediately (pending clearance) and will end at the end of the academic year.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating their students in areas including Resistant Materials, Engineering, Electronics, Product Design, Textiles, and Graphics. Their ethos revolves around collaboration, encouraging both students and staff to work together to achieve excellence, values of respect, and tenacity in all aspects of school life, ensuring that every individual feels valued and supported on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities - Design Technology Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and mark the Design Technology curriculum to KS3/4 level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Foster a positive & safe learning environment
- Effectively manage classroom & individual behaviour management in line with school policies
- Liaise with colleagues and parents to ensure a high standard of support for all pupils
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, we will require the following:
- Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an alternative, equivalent qualification
- Own or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
