Job Advertisement: Psychology Graduate - Support Role in Education (Primary Schools)
Location: Liverpool-based Primary Schools
Are you a Psychology Graduate with a passion for supporting children's mental health and well-being? We are offering an exciting full-time, long-term opportunity to work in primary schools, helping to support pupils with mental health challenges in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and mental health support to children across primary school age groups.
- Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to develop individualised support plans for pupils.
- Offer one-to-one and group interventions focused on mental health and emotional well-being.
- Monitor the progress and well-being of pupils, helping to create a positive and supportive school experience.
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to provide holistic support for pupils where necessary.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their mental health.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with children or in a mental health setting is desirable, but not essential.
