The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will:

Inspire and Motivate: Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons to students of various age groups, fostering a love for physical activity and sports.

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver a balanced and comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Student Development: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support the development of individual athletic skills and overall well-being.

Extracurricular Activities: Lead and participate in extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events, encouraging students to engage in physical activities beyond the classroom.

Safe Learning Environment: Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students, adhering to health and safety guidelines and school policies.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification in Physical Education.

Passion for Physical Education: A strong commitment to promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among young people.

Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to engage and motivate students, as well as collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to teach a range of sports and physical activities, and adapt to different school settings.

Enhanced DBS Check: A valid DBS check, or willingness to obtain one prior to starting work.
