Tradewind are seeking to recruit a committed KS2 teacher to lead a lovely Year 3 class in a wonderful, supportive school in Glossop.

Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a Year 3 Teacher for a long-term position in a school with a fantastic reputation in a lovely family feel school based in Glossop. The role will commence Decemberr 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year with the possibility of an extension, depending upon your success. The school will pay a competitive salary paid to scale in line with the role involving full-class responsibilities.

About the Role

As the Year 3 Teacher, you will be accountable for the learning and progress of approximately 30 children within a mixed ability class. Whilst a large percentage of pupils are working at age related expectations, you will be required to plan targeted interventions to bridge learning gaps and address missed curriculum content.

  • You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching in a KS2 setting (Year 3 desirable) with excellent references to support your previous experience
  • Provide a CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with no gaps
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Have a right to work in the UK
