If so, Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role within Key Stage 2 (KS2) at a vibrant mainstream primary school in Liverpool.
The Role:
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support to pupils, helping them achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for covering lessons, delivering small group interventions, and providing tailored support for individual learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teaching and learning in KS2, ensuring all pupils receive the help they need to succeed.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence.
- Leading small group activities and interventions to support student progress.
- Assisting with planning and preparation of classroom activities.
- Contributing to assessments and record-keeping.
- Promoting positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working within a Key Stage 2 setting.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Confidence in delivering lessons and working with groups of children.
- A passion for education and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of every pupil.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
