Your Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have additional learning needs, providing tailored support that helps each student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will assist the class teacher, engage in creative activities, and be a part of our mission to create a safe and nurturing space for all learners.

What We're Looking For:

  • A warm, empathetic individual who is passionate about education.
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN is desirable but not essential-what matters most is your commitment to helping every child succeed.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with children and staff.

The school is centrally located in the borough of Wandsworth, which is a safe and leafy suburb of South London.

Job Requirements for this SEN TA role in Wandsworth

  • Experience of supporting SEN children particularly in a mainstream school
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
