As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the educational experience for all children and occasionally covering the class when the teacher has PPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover PPA sessions, delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the curriculum.
- Support classroom teachers in planning and preparing lessons.
- Work with small groups and individual students to boost their confidence and skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
- A degree qualification is essential.
- Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
