Job Title: SEN Learner Assistant
Location: Sutton, London
School Type: Primary SEND School
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated SEN Learner Assistant to join our team at a dedicated SEND school in Sutton, London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them achieve both academic and personal development goals.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and develop strategies that address each student's unique learning needs.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that focuses on the social and emotional well-being of all students.
- Assist with classroom activities, contributing to a positive and engaging learning experience for every student.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and other stakeholders by providing regular progress updates and insights.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN learners is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred due to the location of the school in Sutton.
Salary and Benefits:
