We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher in the Maidstone area, to work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be working with children and young people with Profound, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with complex learning difficulties.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence.
  • Collaborate with support staff to implement tailored learning strategies and interventions.
  • Use a range of communication techniques, such as Makaton or PECS, to support student interaction and understanding.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Build positive relationships with families and carers to support holistic development.
