Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Computer science to join a secondary academy in north Leeds, near Horsforth.

This is a full-time teaching role initially offered on a long-term supply basis.

The Role

Teacher of Computer science

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and OCR GCSE Computer Science

Students adopt a flipped learning approach and document their learning in the form of a blog. Students are engaged and are able to learn independently from the very first minute of the lesson due to rich video content. Students are tested frequently at the end of each topic.

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students and advancements in computer science.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

Hold QTS Status or QTLS

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
