SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with a delightful, 2-form entry primary school in Ealing who are seeking a year 1 teaching assistant.

The school is located in Acton, with great transport links (District Line and Overground).

THE ROLE: 

Year 1 teaching assistant, you will:

• Provide support to the class teacher

• Provide individualised support in class to each student

• Support any students in the class that have additional needs

• Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom activities, promote social interaction, and support learning and development

• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student

• Assist with behaviour management

ABOUT YOU:

• Must have experience as a year 1 teaching assistant or in another year group

• Will have a genuine passion for supporting teaching and learning

• Be patient and understanding

• Be flexible

• Have great communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build great relationships
