Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a School Administrator to work in a Secondary School in Trafford. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive, and friendly individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth running of the school's administration. The role is due to start ASAP, offering an immediate start for the successful candidate.

About the Role:

The School Administrator will be responsible for supporting the administration team with a variety of key tasks, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the school run efficiently. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, liaising with students, staff, and parents. Your role will involve handling general enquiries, managing correspondence, and maintaining records in line with school policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors

  • Answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and handling queries

  • Maintaining accurate student and staff records

  • Assisting with student admissions and attendance

  • Supporting the smooth operation of the school's general office functions

  • Producing letters, reports, and other school communications

  • Assisting with the organisation of school events and meetings

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in communicating with people at all levels. Experience in school administration is highly desirable, although not essential. However, a strong administrative background and a good understanding of office systems and procedures are crucial.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in using SIMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

  • A friendly, professional, and approachable demeanour

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
