A progressive alternative provision in Barking & Dagenham is recruiting a strong and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 14-16 with complex behavioural and social needs. Many students are working towards re-engagement with mainstream education or employment pathways.

Role Includes:

  • Mentoring vulnerable students on a daily basis

  • Supporting both academic and vocational lessons

  • Implementing bespoke behaviour plans

  • Liaising with external agencies and families

You Will Need:

  • Experience in PRUs, APs, or with excluded students

  • Resilience and excellent de-escalation techniques

  • Commitment to helping young people succeed
