Are you passionate about early childhood education and have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for nursery assistants for long term posts in school settings in the Mansfeld area
You must have experience within the early years and a minimum of Cache Level 3 in early years to be considered, the hours are school hours from 8.30 - 4pm every day.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a nursery assistant you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively
- Engage with young children in a variety of activities to promote learning and development
- Assist in planning and preparing resources for interactive and engaging lessons
- Monitor and record the progress of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school events and activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging
About you:
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Patient and nurturing approach to supporting children at the beginning of their educational journey
