Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Islington

Contract: Full-time (term-time only), long-term
Location: Islington
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

About the role:
- Providing in-class support across a range of subjects including English, Maths, and Science
- Working closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce lesson content
- Supporting learners with varying abilities, including those with mild SEN
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
About you:
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
- A degree or A-level qualification is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, flexible and proactive, with a genuine interest in education
- A valid enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
