Location: Hackney
Pay: £95-£115 per day (depending on experience)

A thriving secondary school in Hackney is seeking a Science Technician to join their science department, supporting the delivery of engaging and practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
About the role:
- Preparing and setting up materials and equipment for science experiments
- Supporting teachers during practical lessons and demonstrations
- Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies and managing resources
- Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, stored and used safely
- Helping maintain a safe and efficient working environment in the labs
About you:
- A background in science (degree or equivalent) or previous experience in a school lab
- Knowledge of health & safety practices in a laboratory setting
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- A strong interest in supporting education and STEM learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
