Year 6 Teaching Assistant | Chelmsford | September 2025

Are you a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant looking to support Year 6 pupils in their final year of primary education?

Do you have experience in KS2 Classes?

Are you strong at controlling challenging behaviour?

Tradewind Agency are working with a trust of schools based in Chelmsford to recruit dedicated Teaching Assistants for a Year 6 classes, starting in ASAP.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of abilities in Year 6.
  • Assisting the class teacher with preparation, behaviour management, and individual support.
  • Helping to prepare students for SATs and transition to secondary school.
  • Providing feedback on learning progress and supporting interventions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous TA experience, preferably in Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A calm, friendly, and resilient nature.
  • A genuine interest in education and helping children succeed.
