Teaching Assistant - PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Specialist - Northampton

Role Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with PMLD across a range of learning and sensory activities.

• Work closely with the class teacher and therapy teams to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.

• Use specialist resources and assistive technology to enhance communication and engagement.

• Assist with physical care needs, including feeding and mobility support.

• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex SEN needs.

• Calm, patient, and empathetic nature.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine desire to make a difference in children's lives.

• Ability to work full-time, term-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30).
