Psychology Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Tower Hamlets

About the Role:
As a Psychology Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of psychology lessons, help students engage with key concepts, and provide targeted academic and pastoral support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in education, child development, or pursuing a future career in teaching or psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Psychology department with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who need additional help
Assist in creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Help students develop strong study skills, resilience, and confidence
Contribute to the wider pastoral support within the school community

A strong interest or background in Psychology (degree or current study an advantage)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Someone who is enthusiastic about supporting young people
The ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team
