Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm

Learning Support Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a caring, proactive, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with their learning, development, and wellbeing.

Whether you have previous school experience or a background in care, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering learning activities

  • Support pupils with additional needs (SEN)

  • Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)

  • A patient, caring, and resilient attitude

  • Strong communication skills

  • A passion for helping students achieve their best

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
