SEN Teaching Assistant - Northampton
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support students across a range of specialist schools in Northampton. These settings include primary, secondary and all-through SEN provisions, giving you the chance to find the perfect environment for your skills.
Our partner schools support pupils with:
Communication & Interaction needs - including Autism and students needing visual support or structured routines.
Cognition & Learning needs - such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and general learning delays.
Sensory or Physical needs - where pupils may require adapted activities or mobility support.
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties - calling for practical, hands-on support.
Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs - including ADHD and pupils who benefit from reassurance and consistency.
As an SEN TA, you will help with learning activities, support emotional well-being, promote independence and work closely with teachers and therapists. Experience is helpful but not essential-a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
