Youth Worker - Cover Supervisor Roles in Bristol Secondary Schools (£120-£140 per day)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and resilient Youth Workers to step into Cover Supervisor roles across secondary schools in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in youth work, mentoring, coaching or education who are confident managing groups of young people and supporting learning across a variety of subjects.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain engagement and behaviour, and create a positive, structured classroom environment where students can thrive. You'll build meaningful relationships with young people, support their emotional wellbeing, and help keep them motivated throughout the school day.

Key Information
* Immediate and ongoing positions available throughout the academic year
* Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (approx. 37 hours per week)
* Pay rate: £120 - £140 per day, depending on experience
* Opportunities for long-term and permanent school placements

We're looking for individuals who:
* Have experience supporting young people aged 11-16 in youth, community or school settings
* Are confident managing a classroom and engaging students positively
* Can deliver pre-set lessons and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
* Are patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with students and staff
* Communicate effectively and genuinely care about supporting young people's development
* Can adapt quickly and think on their feet in a busy school environment

Essential Requirements
* Experience leading or supporting groups of young people (youth work, mentoring, coaching, education etc.)
* A confident, professional approach with strong behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to apply with our support)
* Two recent professional references
* Legal right to work in the UK
