Key Stage 2 Teacher
Contract: Full-time, long-term contract from February half term (permanent opportunity may be available from September 2026)
Location: South Croydon - Boarder of Surrey
A well-regarded primary school in South Croydon is looking to appoint a full-time Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for the Spring and Summer Terms on an initial temporary contract. There is a potential permanent opportunity from September 2026, so this would be a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher looking or a try before you buy approach.
This is a classroom teaching role to teach KS2 with a competitive salary offered in line with experience via PAYE.
Situated in a leafy part of Croydon, this school is part of a trust but has successfull retained a community feel. As a one form entry primary, they have only 30 staff who collaborate to support one another day to day. They are welcoming, with a long-standing Headteacher who progressed from a student here, ECT up to Headteacher - which represents how great of a school this is to work at.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full teaching responsibility for 1 x KS2 class
Foster a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils in developing key literacy and numeracy skills in preparation for SATS
Assess, record, and report on pupils' progress, development, attainment, and personal and social needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire young learners
- Inspire curiosity and a love of learning in children aged 7 - 11 years old

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearance (if applicable), and professional references
