The Role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher for the full duration of the Spring and Summer terms. You will lead a class of 25 children, supported full-time by an experienced HLTA, ensuring a smooth, well-structured learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
• Ensuring strong pupil progress through effective planning and assessment
• Working closely with parallel Year 2 teachers in a supportive 3-form entry structure
• Creating a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere

Minimum Criteria

To be considered, candidates must have:

• At least 1 year of recent Year 2 teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, reflective, and professional approach

Contract & Pay

Location: Tower Hamlets

Contract: Full-time, term-time

Duration: Spring & Summer terms

Daily Rate: Up to £268 (MPS6 equivalent, PAYE)
