Tradewind Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Newham, who are seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts Department from January to July.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and inspiring Music Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical skills and a love of performing. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to extra-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school performances, helping to develop a rich cultural life for students.
Start Date: January - July
Salary: London MPS (Main Pay Scale)
This client is a large, mixed secondary school in Newham, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with inspectors noting its "strong leadership, committed staff, and a culture where students are motivated to learn and succeed."

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Music or a related subject
- Experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of music
- Ability to teach a range of musical styles and lead extra-curricular music activities
