Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with children and families, working to improve the outcomes for SEN learners
- Work closely with external agencies and providers of support
- Work to deadlines and process all relevant paperwork for EHCP's and provision plans
- Lead, co-ordinate and deliver high quality training for staff
- Support staff with developing effective behaviour strategies
- Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, fostering strong partnerships to support student development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Holds or is willing to undertake the national award for SEN Co-Ordination.
- Track record of supporting SEN learners and outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
