Primary Teacher

Location: Chorley

Start: January 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term (2 terms, until July 2026)

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a highly regarded Catholic primary school in Chorley. This temporary long-term role begins in January and will run for two terms through to July 2026.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils' academic and personal development

Demonstrates strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment

Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes to the wider school community

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Hold QTS and be eligible to work in the UK

Provide an up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years of employment (with explanations for any gaps)

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, professional references, and (if applicable) Overseas Police Clearance
