SANZA Teaching Agency is supporting a welcoming, inclusive primary school who are looking for a committed full-time Teaching Assistant - Clapham, to join their staff team. This primary school is in a beautiful old buidling, set in the heart of a bustling area, and is a social 3 form entry school with warm and caring staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, wants to build their classroom experience, and is keen to make a real impact in a supportive school community.

In this role, you'll work closely with class teachers to deliver in-class support, lead small-group interventions, and help create a calm, engaging learning environment. As a full-time TA in Clapham, you'll benefit from consistent hours in a school that truly values collaboration, pupil wellbeing and high-quality support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children in education and training - idealtly UK schools (classroom, tutoring, clubs or similar)

  • Positive, patient and proactive approach to learning and behaviour

  • Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills

  • Solid understanding of safeguarding (or willingness to learn) and the importance of pupil wellbeing

  • Strong education and training background

  • Living in, or able to commute easily to, Wandsworth or Lambeth or surrounding areas of Clapham
