Art & Design Teacher
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: January 2025 | Full-Time | Permanent

We are working with vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in Wellingborough that are seeking inspiring Art & Design Teachers to join their creative departments from January 2025. These full-time, permanent roles offer the chance to deliver dynamic, high-quality lessons in a supportive environment with a strong artistic culture.

About the Role:

  • Teach engaging and inclusive Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience and school requirements)

  • Inspire students across a range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and mixed-media work

  • Support students in developing strong portfolios, creative confidence, and critical visual analysis skills

  • Plan and deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical skill, and cultural understanding

  • Contribute to exhibitions, creative showcases, and enrichment activities across the school

  • Work collaboratively within the creative faculty to support cross-curricular projects and whole-school arts initiatives

We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in Art & Design or a related discipline

  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic media, processes, and design principles

  • A creative, innovative teacher who engages all learners and encourages artistic exploration

  • Someone who values inclusivity and understands the role of art in supporting personal development and wellbeing

  • A team player with enthusiasm for extracurricular art activities and events

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply - full induction and support provided
