About the Role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver a nurturing, engaging KS1 curriculum that develops early independence
  • Support pupils through this key transitional year, helping them grow as confident learners
  • Use creative approaches to phonics, reading, writing and mathematics
  • Assess learning carefully and celebrate progress
  • Work closely with the KS1 team to plan, share best practice and maintain a positive learning environment

Who We're Looking For

  • A qualified Primary Teacher with QTS
  • Experience in KS1, ideally Year 1 or Year 2
  • A reflective, nurturing practitioner with high expectations
  • Someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to giving Year 2 pupils the very best start
