RE Teacher - North Tyneside
Tradewind is thrilled to be working with secondary schools in the North Tyneside area who are looking to recruit a Religious Education (RE) Teacher.
We are searching for a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 (KS5).
Key Responsibilities
Developing and delivering a rich and balanced RE curriculum that adheres to local and national guidelines.
Facilitating challenging and meaningful classroom discussions on complex religious, philosophical, and ethical topics.
Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to drive progress and attainment.
Managing a supportive and inclusive classroom where all students feel confident to share their views.
Contributing positively to the Humanities faculty and wider school community in North Tyneside.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A relevant degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related Humanities subject.
Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4) (KS5 desirable)
A commitment to promoting student's Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural (SMSC) development.
Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the field.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
