Teaching Assistant - Year 1 full-time, 5 days per week from January 2026 - July 2026.

Pay rates of £90 - £95 PAYE. After 12 weeks AWR will kick in. This SW London School is close to Southfields station and on bus routes.
What we are looking for in the successful Year 1 TA:
- A committed Teaching Assistant to support our Year 1 class, full-time (5 days per week), starting January.
- Good written and spoken English - essential for clear communication with children, staff and parents.
- Knowledge of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is desirable (though not essential). Support will be provided
- A warm, compassionate approach, aligned with our values of empathy, respect and inclusion - ideal for helping every child to thrive.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting learning and progress in Year 1: helping children access the curriculum, working with small groups or one-to-one as needed.
- Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing, helping children feel safe, seen and supported - as part of their Rights Respecting and inclusive ethos.
- Helping to foster a love of learning, confidence and resilience in our pupils, in partnership with teachers, parents and the wider school community.
