Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Clacton-on-Sea, Tendring, Essex

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, or for an established HLTA seeking a new challenge within a thriving educational environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, supporting small groups and individual learners, and helping to raise attainment and engagement.

The successful HLTA will:

  • Hold HLTA status or have relevant experience working at an equivalent level.

  • Have experience supporting pupils within a primary or secondary school setting.

  • Be confident leading whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.

  • Be committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team.
