The ideal candidate for a role as a SEN Teacher will have a great amount of patience; you will be dealing with difficult behaviour from time to time and must be able to handle it appropriately. Depending on the position you could either be working with a select few individuals adapting a lesson plan for their needs, or creating lesson plans to cater to a whole class. Sometimes children who have learning difficulties will find it hard to process information or understand simple tasks; this is where you come in to help them in the best possible way.
