- Keep up to date with each pupil’s development and progress.

- Attend meetings and training days.
- Liaise and work well with other staff members, social workers, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists.
Qualifications
To become an SEN Teacher you must possess the proper qualifications. You should undertake a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education Degree. There are also on-the-job courses such as the School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, the Graduate Teacher Programme or the Registered Teacher Programme.
