Are you considering a career in teaching, or a Teaching Assistant wanting to expand your skill set and experience within education? Ever thought about working as a Cover Supervisor in Bristol?

Cover Supervisor's are responsible for:

  • Cover lessons and supervise the class in the absence of the teacher
  • Helping students complete work set by the class teacher
  • Managing pupils and behaviour for the duration of lessons
  • Feeding back to the class teacher and leaving handover notes

You will not be expected to plan lessons or actively ‘teach’ the material left by the absent teacher, and you do not need any experience or formal qualifications beyond your degree; full training will be provided.

There really is no better way to get an introductory feel for working in education before signing up for a PGCE!
