If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant at a primary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the vibrant city of Liverpool.

Position: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Location: Liverpool, Primary SEMH School Year Group: Year 5
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 5 child with SEMH needs.
- Implement tailored strategies to address social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other support staff to create a holistic approach to the child's development.
- Monitor and assess the child's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEMH needs.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting individual learning journeys.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of the child and the school environment.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
