Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistants who will based within a school in Wirral. There are currently TWO roles available.

Roles:
1:1 support with a 9 year old boy new to the school.This child requires clear boundaries and a reward or goal system to work towards.
1:1 support with an 11 year old female who has a history if trauma due to domestic violence in the home. She has also been out of school for some time.

The school is located close to a train station which make links from Liverpool City Centre and areas of the Wirral easily accessible, alternatively there is also has parking on site.

The school provides an education for children who are no longer in mainstream education and quite often are within the care system, therefore associated social and emotional issues can result in challenging behaviours.
We look for:
*Experience working with young children in a coaching or academic capacity
*Previous experience with challenging behaviours
*Calm but positive personality
*Level headed
*Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
*Excellent listening skills
*Maths and English GCSE as a minimum, TA qualification or hold a degree
