Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an outstanding Primary SEN teaching assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This is the ideal opportunity to secure a position in a friendly, popular Primary school in Oldham.

We are looking for:
* Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs, specifically Autism.
* Someone with a calm, approachable and understanding personality
* Experience using PECs and Makaton is desirable
* Team teach training would be ideal but not essential as training can be provided

The role will be to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs and Autism and is a full-time role with a potential start in September 2020 and continuing into the next academic year. You will be supported by the class teacher and at times will need to work in break out area.

The school is located within the Oldham area and is easily accessible by public transport.

The essentials:
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
