Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 1 classrooms, assisting teachers and contributing to the overall development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Key Stage 1.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting classroom management and behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support the academic and personal development of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Key Stage 1, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the development of children in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
