To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
*SEN experience is essential, ideally Autism experience.
*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or higher)
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

About the role
This primary school is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work specifically with a child with Autism in Y1. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and prior experience working with children who require SEN support.
The school have expressed that it is desirable for the successful Teaching Assistant to have prior TeamTeach training, and have experience using PECS, MAKATON and other sensory oriented processes.
