This exciting opportunity is available immediately and will last until the end of the academic year.
Position Details:
- Location: East Hull
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM (mornings only)
- Rate: £13 per hour
Duties of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide individualised support to a student with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Assist the student with academic tasks and personal development
- Implement strategies to promote the student's learning and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and record the student's progress
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Understanding of SEND and experience working with students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable
