1:1 Teaching Assistant - January 2024

One of our lovely schools in Stroud is looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 support to a year 7 student with Autism, in an independent school setting.

Your main role will be supporting the child in the classroom, building a rapport to help them feel confident and motivated. This will include maintaining their routine, and engaging in various learning techniques to help control the students focus on work.

For this role we're looking for candidates who can start full time in January 2024 until the end of the academic year, and can work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Pay Rate: £80 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

• Experience supporting a student with SEND (preferable)
• A positive, resilient mentality - this role can be incredibly rewarding, but equally will require time, dedication, and patience.
• Clear communication skills and be confident working with children.
