Tradewind are currently working with an excellent FE provider in Hull who require an outstanding Geography Teacher to work in their Humanities department for a maternity cover position. As it stands, this position is due to start on March 23rd, and last until the 18th of May. With this being a maternity cover, this is of course subject to change and may start earlier and finish later, possibly extending until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching a 0.6 timetable, spread across 4.5 days, with a Monday afternoon off. You will be paid for the 4.5 days that you are in the college. You will be teaching approximately 8 A Level Geography lessons across the 4.5 days, so we are looking for a true specialist who can teach A Level Geography and has experience teaching A Level Geography. Your typical working hours will be from 9AM to 4PM, and you will not be expected to take a form group. You will be teaching a mixture of first years and second years. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this position, so the successful candidate will be paid to scale. In real terms this means the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £180.0 per day for this position.

The education provider is an FE College that caters solely for post 16 learners, offering A Level and BTEC courses. You will be teaching learners aged 16-18, and will only be teaching A Levels. It has a large onsite car park which will provide ample parking for practitioners who drive, and it is on a bus route from the city centre for practitioners who don't drive.
